In a survey conducted by experts USC Viterbi School of Engeneering in California and the University of Utah, they claim to have invented the algorithm that determines the level, pace, "anxiety" and "weakening" in the voice of couples, showing how happy they are.

For the study, published in the journal Proceedings of Interspeech, researchers have recorded the voice of 100 couples who participated in a marriage counseling center, during a two year period.
